Jesus lover, iced coffee enthusiast, thrift connoisseur, and breast cancer survivor, Mercedes was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and raised in Marietta, Georgia. Proudly Afro-Latina, with African American and Puerto Rican roots, she is a wife of nine years to an amazing man of God and mom to two boys, Hendrix and Harlem. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design.

A personal thrift shopper and stylist, Mercedes has a passion for the thrill of the find and helping others build wardrobes that feel both sustainable and uniquely their own. With nearly 90% of her own wardrobe sourced secondhand, she is a true believer that one person’s trash can become another person’s treasure. But for Mercedes, styling goes beyond the clothes; she loves curating looks that help people feel beautiful, confident, and fully themselves.

Her love for fashion is generational, inspired by her grandmother and mother and, as she puts it, “basically in my blood.” Her philosophy on style is simple: wear what makes YOU feel good, wear what makes YOU confident, and be true to who God created you to be. Above all, Mercedes’ relationship with God is the foundation of her life. She gives Him the glory for the woman she is today and for everything she has overcome.
